Programs for the Youth
The goal of all youth programs at Hope Lutheran Church is to
teach each young person about the life and resurrection of
our Risen Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. The programs
strive to instill in all children the love of God and His
plan for their lives through an understanding of God’s Word
using active Bible Study and prayer as the cornerstone of
learning. Each program is planned and geared to the age of
the participant.
SUNDAY SCHOOL
is offered for children from Preschool age through grade 8
during the months of September through May. The children
meet in the Fellowship Hall after they are excused from
Church during the
9:30 am service. Each Sunday begins with the gathering of all
children for a devotional opening that includes prayer,
object lessons, puppetry, and song. The children then divide
into smaller groups with individual teachers for
age-appropriate Bible study. A snack is served at the
completion of each Sunday school session.
